We (Peter & Denise) opted out of the mandatory stresses associated with life in the UK executive ‘fast lane’ in December 2004 following the graduation of our two children. We spent the next six months scouring Andalucia for the perfect location. Like almost every other Brit arriving here our prime remit was to discover the real Spain, far removed from the stereotypical ‘Blackpool with tapas’ reputation that appears to have become unjustly associated with the costas..

In addition, like most Brits we wanted to mix with the local community and to participate in their daily activities. Unlike most other Brits we have achieved our aim here in Posadas. It has always been our intention to offer guest house / b&b accommodation to the more adventurous and discerning tourists who are prepared to move away from the hectic activities of the coastal resorts and experience what else Andalucia has on offer.
